Year 5 Visit London22 October 2024 (by administrator) |
Year 5 have been to London! Year 5 have visited the Houses of Parliament, had a tour of the buildings and taken part in a workshop. They even met a real life Baroness, Baroness Blower, and were given the opportunity to ask her some interesting questions.
They embarked on a walking sight-seeing tour of London, taking in some of the infamous landmarks: the London Eye, The Thames, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Horse Guards Parade, Buckingham Palace and Wellington Arch. The sun shone down on them and it made for a truly memorable walk.
The day finished with a whistle-stop tour of the Natural History Museum before they made their way back home to Evesham.
The day was truly wonderful and the children haven't stopped talking about it! Thank you children for a fantastic day out and thank you to the staff who gave up their time to make the long day possible.
